Day 7: Creativity as Self Care

Creativity can help you express what you are thinking and what you are feeling. It is one of the many ways we can engage in self-care. A few creative activities I encourage you to try is drawing, coloring, and painting! If you already engage in these activities, maybe try something new by experimenting with a different medium, color palette and/or style. If you already incorporate creativity into your self-care routine, be sure to celebrate your wins by reflecting on past projects and notice how far you have come with your artwork. Oftentimes, we get so caught up in our day-to-day life that it is easy to forget how we have progressed and improved.

Whether you engage your creative side with drawing, painting, coloring, photography, woodworking or any of the other wonderful ways you feel creative, take time to indulge in your own world of creativity.
