One of my goals as a therapist is to establish a safe and nurturing space that promotes personal growth through ongoing support and building therapeutic interventions. I have experience working with clients who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, anger management, impulsivity, stress management, self-esteem, family conflicts, peer relationships, adjustments at home and/or school, social challenges, emotion regulation, and coping mechanisms. The first step in creating any kind of change is first thinking about change. Congratulations on taking that crucial leap. I would describe my therapy style as 100% client centered. I view each person as their own individual, and appreciate everyone’s ability to inform me about themselves, instead of me making any assumptions about them. The first and most important thing that I value in any therapeutic relationship is for clients to feel like they can truly be themselves while working with me. My experiences have provided me with the opportunity work with individuals across the life span, both through individual and group therapy. My expertise and passion revolve around working with clients struggling with issues revolving around grief, bereavement, life transitions, caregiver stress, burnout, and coping with illnesses (such as cancer). If you feel like you can’t pinpoint what it is you want to work on, that is okay. I am here to help you along with your journey. Feel free to reach out if you feel I may be a good fit.
